Officials ID Teen Killed In Livermore Crash Sunday
The driver was extricated and taken to a trauma center, where he died.

ALAMEDA COUNTY, CA — A Tracy teenager who died in a collision on Mines Road Sunday has been identified by the Alameda County Sheriff's Office as Jon Louis Gullette. The 19-year-old driver was traveling in a white Ford Mustang in a rural area around 8 a.m. when he lost control of the car around a curve and careened off a steep hill into trees, where he became trapped.
Other vehicles were traveling with the victim and stopped upon witnessing the accident, but the occupants could not reach emergency responders because of the lack of cell phone service, CHP Officer Derek Reed said.
They extricated the victim from the car and drove to an area with cell service, calling 9-1-1.
Emergency responders arrived and took the victim to a trauma center, where he died. Alcohol or substance use is not suspected in the crash.
