Park District Introduces New Division Manager
She holds a master's degree in public administration from San Jose State.

LIVERMORE, CA - The Livermore Area Recreation and Park District recently welcomed a new Division Manager to its team on Nov. 16.
Patricia Lord is LARPD’s new Division Manager for Recreation, coming from the City of Santa Clara Parks and Recreation Department. There she served as Recreation Division Manager from 2014 until joining LARPD, and also held other positions there for several years prior. She also worked for the City of Sunnyvale for 11 years, including serving as Recreation Manager. And for the City of Menlo Park, she was Community Services Manager for two years.

“As the new Recreation Division Manager, it is a pleasure to be part of the LARPD team in support of our mission,” Lord said.
A resident of Tracy, Lord holds a master’s degree in public administration and a bachelor’s degree in recreation administration, both from San Jose State University. She has been an active member of the California Parks and Recreation Society, and also served in a volunteer capacity on the Board of Directors of the mayor-appointed San Jose Arena Authority for eight years.
