Patelco Hires Credit Union Affairs Executive Director to Act as Ambassador at Large

PLEASANTON, Calif. – Patelco Credit Union, one of California’s largest credit unions with more than $4 billion in assets, announced the hiring of Nathaniel (Nate) Burns to serve as its Credit Union Affairs Executive Director. In his role, Burns will act as Patelco’s ambassador-at-large, actively engaging with legislative and community leaders as well as the credit union movement.

Burns has extensive experience in the financial services industry including former roles as VP Denovo Branches at JP Morgan Chase, VP of Corporate Marketing, Sales and Service for California Bank and Trust, and held both the Regional Director East Bay Area and AVP, Business Development roles for Patelco. In addition, Burns has been extremely active in the Credit Union Industry by serving on the California Credit Union League San Francisco Chapter Board, Western CUNA Management School Alumni Board and the SAC Town Ten Planning Committee. Burns received his Bachelors of Business Administration in Management from Baylor University, TX and is a Western CUNA Management School graduate.
