Pleasanton Woman Found Guilty Of Murder In Livermore DUI Crash
Jennifer Barbero, 44, was found guilty of second degree murder after hitting and killing in a man while driving dunk, police say.
LIVERMORE, CA — A Pleasanton woman was found guilty Thursday of a second degree murder charge after driving drunk and fatally hitting a man with her car in Livermore, the Livermore Police Department said.
Jennifer Barbero, 44, was convicted by a jury in Alameda County Superior Court Thursday, police said. Barbero was driving south on Isabel Avenue when she hit a 73-year-old Pleasanton man standing next to his car, police said. The incident occurred May 26, 2017.
Her SUV was disabled and she stayed at the scene, police said.
