LIVERMORE, CA — Uncle Sharkii, a poke franchise with Bay Area locations in Concord, Fairfield, and San Bruno, will open soon at the Shops at Livermore, the mall announced Friday on its Instagram page.

The franchise started in 2018, and derived its name from a toy shark given to the founder’s daughter as a gift. The family celebrated by having boba tea and poke, and decided to name a poké bar after the toy. The franchise also has locations in Hawaii, Texas and Utah.

The menu offers poke bowls with a mix of Masago eggs, seaweed salad, imitation crab, sliced cucumbers, corn, onions, scallions, jalapeños, and more. It also offers a variety of Boba teas, and Dole soft serve ice cream flavors.
