Livermore Babysitter Arrested for Abuse of 13-Month Old Baby: Police

Police officials say the suspect is believed to have advertised her services on Care.com.

LIVERMORE, CA: Police have arrested a Livermore babysitter suspected of abusing a 13-month-old boy, police officials said.

Officials began investigating the reported abuse allegations on Feb. 18. According to police, Moriah Gonzales, 20, who advertised her services on Care.com, was taken into custody and booked into the Santa Rita Jail in Dublin on Feb. 19.

Following her arrest, the District Attorney filed one count of 273a(a) PC against Gonzales. Police say the investigation is sensitive and ongoing. Investigators ask anyone who may have used Gonzales’ services to contact LPD at (925) 294-7531.
