Power Outage Update: Service Still Out For 270 In East Bay
Storms to blame for the outages that affected more than 5,000 in Bay Area Wednesday night.

Power has been restored for most residents and businesses who had their electric knocked out by wind and heavy rains in the Bay Area overnight, a PG&E spokesman said this morning.
As of about 8 a.m., only 315 PG&E customers were without power in the Bay Area, down from more than 5,000 as of about 9:45 p.m. Wednesday, PG&E spokesman J.D. Guidi said.
The remaining outages includes 90 residents and businesses in the North Bay, 185 in the South Bay, 270 in the East Bay, 40 on the Peninsula and none in San Francisco, Guidi said.
