Premium Outlets To Install Solar-Powered Trash Receptacles
The installation of the high-efficiency garbage compactors will reduce the number of trash can liners used and maximize custodial resources.
LIVERMORE, CA — The San Francisco Premium Outlets in Livermore plan to install 15 solar-powered trash receptacles on the property by the end of the year. The high-efficiency garbage compactors, called TossCubes, will compact the waste products and notify janitors via a mobile app when they need to be emptied.
The installation of the TossCubes is intended to limit the property's carbon footprint, reduce the number of trash can liners and maximize custodial resources, according to a news release from Simon Premium Outlets.
The San Francisco Premium Outlets are located at 2774 Livermore Outlets Dr. in Livermore.
