This Week in Livermore: Premium Outlets Hosting Job Fair for 1,000 New Positions

The job fair is free and open to the public. No registration is required to attend.

The San Francisco Premium Outlets recently announced 35 of the new stores slated to open in Livermore in August and they are now hiring 1,000 people to staff all of those new stores and many of the existing stores.

A job fair is scheduled for July 24 between 9 a.m. and 12 p.m. and 1 p.m. and 4 p.m. at the Robert Livermore Community Center, located at 4444 East Avenue in Livermore.

The City of Livermore released details about the job fair:

“Participating employers have more than 1,000 full-time, part-time, and seasonal positions to fill. Positions include store managers, assistant managers, sales associates, stockroom workers, custodial staff, and others. The new stores open on August 13. The job fair is a collaboration between the City of Livermore, Alameda County Workforce Investment Board, Alameda County Social Services, Livermore Area Recreation and Park District, and other regional organizations.”

According to Dave Ackerman, Director of Marketing and Business Development for San Francisco Premium Outlets, there are “hundreds of available positions in the most outstanding retail environment in the region. We are delighted to have such wonderful support from our city and county resources!”

Interested applicants are encouraged to carpool or take public transit, dress in work attire, wear comfortable shoes, bring multiple copies of their resumes, be ready for interviews, and have a positive attitude.
