This popular run/walk begins at 8am (7am check-in) and takes place on the Arroyo Mocho Trail.

From Tri-Valley Haven: Registration is now open for Tri-Valley Haven's Annual Pace for Peace event on October 6th. This popular run/walk begins at 8am (7am check-in) and takes place on the Arroyo Mocho Trail, winding through the beautiful Livermore Wine Country.

This year’s event theme of “ALL Families Deserve Peace” brings light to the issue of Domestic Violence during DV Awareness Month. Tri-Valley Haven has been serving families and individuals fleeing violent situations for over 40 years, and proceeds from the Pace benefit their Domestic Violence Shelter, Counseling Services, 24-hour Crisis Line, and Legal Clinic. The agency also provides services at their homeless shelter, food pantry, thrift store, and to students via healthy relationship and anti-bullying education in the schools.

The Pace for Peace kicks off with a fun zumba warm-up at 7:45. Registration includes a commemorative tee-shirt, finisher medals, chip timing, post-race refreshments, and age group awards. There are also raffle prizes, team prizes, and a prize for the person who raises the most sponsorship money. To register, or for more information please visit The Haven’s website: www.trivalleyhaven.org or Runsignup.com. Proxy pledge donations or sponsorships may be sent to: Tri-Valley Haven - Pace, 3663 Pacific Ave, Livermore, CA 94550 or contact lisa@trivalleyhaven.org. Thank you. Together we can build a world without violence, one community at a time.
