Road Closures for 31st Annual Holiday Sights and Sounds Parade, Tree Lighting in Livermore

LIVERMORE, CA — The annual Holiday Sights and Sounds Parade will be making its way through downtown Livermore this Saturday evening, officially kicking off the holiday season. The parade starts at 6 p.m. on Dec. 3 and ends with a tree lighting ceremony. Downtown merchants and eateries will be open during the celebration.

The following roads will be closed for the parade route:

• First Street will be closed from Maple Street to South N Street.
• Second Street will be closed from McLeod Street to South N Street.
• All of the cross streets between First Street and Third Street to include Livermore Avenue west toward South M Street will be closed to traffic.

Due to the popularity of the event, police are expecting large crowds and traffic congestion. Livermore weather is forecasted to be dry and chilly, according to Weather.com.
