Do you know this man? Police said he escaped after robbing a check-cashing store and remains at large.

LIVERMORE, CA — Police are asking for the public’s help identifying a man who allegedly fired a gun into the ceiling of a Livermore check-cashing store Tuesday afternoon. The suspect entered the Check Into Cash, located at 977 East Stanley Boulevard, just before 4 p.m. and demanded money, police said. The man left the store with an undisclosed amount of cash and fled the area in an awaiting green four-door vehicle.

A short time later, a resident discovered a car nearby that matched the description of the car the suspect left in. However, the car was abandoned and found to be stolen. The suspect remains at large.

Police shared the photo taken from the store's security cameras hoping to identify the suspect. The investigation into the robbery is ongoing and anyone with information is asked to call the Livermore Police Department-Public Information Officer line at (925) 371-4777.
