Seniors Invited To Medicare And Open Enrollment Seminar

An overview of eligibility, cost, benefits, changes in Medicare Parts A and B, and options for supplementing Medicare will be discussed.

From LARPD: The Livermore Area Recreation and Park District Senior Services Division invites seniors that are 65 years old, or those turning 65 and their families to a presentation on Medicare and the Open Enrollment system. The free seminar will be held on Tuesday, October 16th from 10:30 am – 12 noon.

Jennifer Pardini from the Health Insurance Counseling and Assistance Program (HICAP) will explain changes to the 2019 Medicare Prescription Drug (part D) plans and Medicare Advantage (part C) plans.

An overview of eligibility, cost, benefits, changes in Medicare Parts A and B, and options for supplementing Medicare and the Extra Help Plan will also be discussed. Advance Registration is requested by October 11th. You may register online at LARPD.org or call 925- 373-5700 for this free program. The presentation will be in the Robert Livermore Community Center’s Palo Verde Room, located at 4444 East Avenue, Livermore, CA 94550. Additional parking is available on Loyola Avenue.
