Sig-Alert Lifted Following Injury Crash On I-580

At least five cars were involved in the wreck, according to the CHP.

LIVERMORE, CA — All lanes on westbound Interstate 580 west of N. Livermore Avenue have reopened following an injury crash this morning. The wreck, which involved at least five cars and a tractor-trailer, was reported on the busy freeway at 7:45 a.m., according to the California Highway Patrol.

The collision blocked several lanes of traffic. The CHP issued a Sig-alert at 8 a.m., which has since been lifted. The CHP and Livermore-Pleasanton Fire Department crews responded to assist. No other information is available.
