Its been an unforgettable month for the SMOKE FASTPITCH 14U girls softball team, based out of Livermore.
They first participated in the Triple Crown World Series in San
Diego. They went up against some of the best 14U teams around. These
girls battled throughout a week of high level competition to land in the
semifinal silver bracket. Just 1 win short of making it into the
championship bracket. Out of 29 teams SMOKE FASTPITCH placed 5th,
earning an opportunity to go to the US NATIONALS in Bowling Green,
Kentucky.
After fund raising their hearts out these girls landed in Kentucky
for the US Nationals, where they competed against the top elite teams in
the entire country for their age division! These young ladies played
their hearts out in a week long tournament. SMOKE FASTPITCH girls put
forth an excellent effort going 2 and 2.
