STEM Event For Girls Sponsored By Livermore Labs, Sandia

Registration is underway for the 26th annual San Joaquin Expanding Your Horizons Conference.

LIVERMORE, CA — A daylong event for girls grades 6-12 that is designed to increase interest and foster awareness of careers in science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) is currently taking registrations.

The 26th annual San Joaquin Expanding Your Horizons Conference, scheduled Sat., Sept. 21, at the University of the Pacific in Stockton is currently taking registrations.

Conference attendees participate in three hands-on workshops that provide opportunities to meet and interact with positive role models who are actively engaged in STEM-related careers.

The conference takes place from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., with check-in starting at 8:15 a.m. The $20 registration fee includes a T-shirt, lunch, SJEYH giveaways and chances to win door prizes. Space is limited to the first 550 registrants.
