Stolen Bike Returned To Livermore Teen

LIVERMORE, CA — A stolen bike was returned to a 15-year-old after a police officer stopped a man Tuesday who was acting strangely while pushing a bike, the Livermore Police Department said.

The officer checked the bike and determined it was stolen, police said. The man was arrested.

The officer returned the bike to the teen, whose bike was stolen a few weeks ago while he was watching a movie, police said.

Police remind residents to keep track of their serial numbers and unique stickers so they can be easily reunited with their bikes if they are stolen.
