From Tri-Valley Health: Livermore Valley Joint Unified School District (LVJUSD), in collaboration with the City of Livermore and Alameda County, will host the annual Livermore Health Fair on Wednesday, August 15, from 1:00 to 5:00 pm at Junction Avenue K-8. There will be free physicals, dental screenings, and vision screenings, along with health and wellness resources for all students and families. Limited vaccines will be available to qualifying students.

The Health Fair is a creation of the Tri-Valley Health Initiative to strengthen the ability of the Tri-Valley region to provide high quality, accessible, school-linked health and wellness support for youth and families experiencing poor health and educational outcomes. The initiative is based on evidence that there is a critical link between a child’s healthy development and educational success, ultimately impacting long-term health outcomes. The initiative invests in a range of specific prevention activities aimed at improving physical, social, and emotional health and strengthening families.
