They are able shop for free at the thrift store for clothes for job interviews and school as well as items to furnish a new place to live after graduation. Proceeds from the thrift store directly support the women and children at Shepherd’s Gate by providing care, safety, education and encouragement as they rebuild their lives. LIVERMORE, CA — The Livermore Police Department is preparing for its annual Stuff the Cruiser event, which provides school supplies to LVJUSD students in need. Livermore police cruisers will be collecting supplies on Saturday, Aug. 12 and Sunday, Aug. 13 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. outside the following locations: <ul><li>Big Lots (4484 Las Positas Road) </li><li>CVS (1500 First Street) </li><li>Office Max (2400 Las Positas Road) </li><li>Walmart (2700 Las Positas Road) </li></ul> Donations can also be delivered to the Livermore Police Department before Aug. 16. Parents or guardians interested in receiving supplies can pick up an application at the LPD front desk.
