Support Livermore Kids In Need: 'Shop With A Cop'

LIVERMORE, CA — Livermore's annual "Shop with a Cop" program is back.

Community donations allow Livermore Valley Joint Unified School District students in need to spend a day in early December having breakfast and going shopping with Livermore police officers. The students may buy presents for themselves or family members.

The program is funded by donations from the community and Livermore Police Department employees, who have each donated $75.

Employees who contributed are allowed to go without shaving in November, or rock blue nail polish or a blue streak in their hair.
