Suspect Arrested In Connection With Former Granada HS Student Killing
Tracy police arrested a suspect Friday in connection with the death of David Cantero Valdez, who was found shot in a car.
LIVERMORE, CA — Tracy police arrested a suspect in connection with the murder of 17-year-old former Granada High School student David Valdez.
On Friday, the Tracy Police Department’s Crisis Response Unit, Special Investigations Unit, Special Enforcement Team, and Patrol Officers served a search and arrest warrant at a home Tracy. Victor Vera, 27 of Tracy, was arrested, charged with murder, and booked into San Joaquin County Jail.
Valdez was found Jan. 12 in Tracy suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. He was transported to a local hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries.
