Suspect Wanted In Killing: Livermore Police Release More Photos
Detectives are still working to track down Jorge Luis Tellez, who is wanted in the July 8 shooting of LHS student Emmanuel Moseby.
LIVERMORE, CA — The Livermore Police Department has released more photos of a man wanted in connection with a July 8 shooting that left a 16-year-old Livermore High School student dead. Images of suspect, Jorge Luis Tellez, were released Friday on social media by the department in hopes that the public can help detectives track down the 21-year-old who fled the shooting scene and has not been found.
Emmanuel Moseby was shot around 9:25 p.m. outside a Taco Bell restaurant at 985 E. Stanley Boulevard. According to police, when officers responded to the incident they found the teen boy suffering from a gunshot wound to the abdomen. He was immediately transported to a local hospital but died hours later on July 9.
According to police, there was a verbal altercation between the victim and Tellez that resulted in the fatal shooting.

LPD's SWAT team served a search warrant on Tellez's residence early July 9; an arrest warrant was also obtained, according to police.
Tellez should be considered armed and dangerous, according to the LPD.

A GoFundMe account has been set up to raise $20,000 for Moseby's funeral service and for scholarships for fellow students; it has raised $17,000 as of Friday morning. The people who set up the fundraiser said the LHS junior varsity football player's nickname was "Ace" and described him as "a brother, son and a great friend who was loved by many."
A friend of Moseby's wrote on the fundraiser's website, "Emmanuel was a phenomenal person. His spirit was a beautiful and brilliant one." She said, "He was determined to be his best at all times. He was smart and inquisitive, honest and loving."
The woman wrote, "My heart is broken and there has not been a day I have not been racked with tears and grief. His spirit will transcend, but while he is still earthbound I'm screaming I love you!"
