'Suspicious' Car Puts Livermore Residents on Alert

Anyone who sees the car or anything suspicious is asked to call Livermore Police at 925 371-4987.

Residents living in the Northside Livermore and Summerset communities are on alert this week following multiple reports of a ‘suspicious’ vehicle, whose driver is suspected of casing houses.

One resident, who wishes to remain anonymous for safety reasons, says the car has been seen on numerous occasions, at various times of day, throughout the past week.

Livermore Police officials say they have received reports about the car and have increased patrols in the area.

Witnesses say the vehicle is described as an older model white or sun-faded-silver Buick Skylark, with a broken rear windshield and missing a rear license plate.
