Sweet Kittens Rescued By Alameda Co. Fire Crews In Livermore

Engine 8 crews made the rescue Wednesday afternoon.

LIVERMORE, CA — Alameda County Fire Department crews proved they have a soft spot for felines. Shortly after 12 p.m. Wednesday, Engine 8 firefighters rescued three very young kittens trapped in a vehicle engine in the 5700 block of East Avenue in Livermore.

With momma cat nearby, the crews cared for the rescued babes until animal control arrived.
