Traffic Alert: Two Livermore Roads Reopen Following Mudslides
Multiple mudslides forced the closure of Patterson Pass and Tesla Road Monday afternoon.

Two roads east of Livermore closed by mudslides on Monday afternoon have reopened, according to the Alameda County Public Works Agency. Patterson Pass Road reopened at about 3:30 a.m. Tuesday, roughly 12 hours after it was closed. Crews have removed the mud and debris from Tesla Road, and it has since reopened.
A mudslide on Patterson Pass Road was reported at about 3:25 p.m. Monday just east of Cross Road, according to the California Highway Patrol. Later, several mudslides on Tesla Road forced the closure of that road as well.
Traffic was detoured back to Interstate Highway 580 as crews worked on clearing mud from the roadway.
