Netflix’s new show premieres Tuesday evening, and is a loose remake of the competition show that aired from 1983 to 1995 and helped launch stars like Beyoncé, Justin Timberlake, Christina Aguilera, and many more. Like talent shows like “America’s Got Talent,” It will feature a variety of acts, including dancing, singing, magic, standup comedy, and more. Netflix is the first streaming service to air a show that allows viewers to vote in real time. The show will air for five weeks on Tuesdays and Wednesdays at 6 p.m. PT.
