Tri-Valley Duo Arrested For Starbucks Laptop Robberies
The two 18-year-olds are accused of multiple incidents of swiping computers from coffee-shop patrons.
DUBLIN, CA – Two Pleasanton men were arrested Friday, accused of repeat crimes of stealing laptops from customers at Starbucks locations in Dublin, according to officials.
AdamUzelac and Khan Roadwall, both 18, were taken into custody at their homes after being identified by witnesses and video surveillance, Dublin Police Services said Monday.
The first victim, on May 30, had his computer forcefully stolen as he sat inside Starbucks at the Hacienda Crossings Shopping Center at 4930 Dublin Boulevard, the department said. Similar incidents also were reported June 6 and June 8 at the Hacienda Crossing Starbucks and another locale in the Persimmon Place Shopping Center at 5138 Dublin Boulevard.

"Additional evidence," including one of the missing laptops, was recovered during the execution of search warrants at Uzelac's and Roadwall's residences, authorities said.
The Alameda County District Attorney’s Office charged Uzelac and Roadwall with felony counts of suspected robbery and grand theft, and the two are behind bars at the Santa Rita Jail in Dublin.
