Tri-Valley Haven To Host Pace For Peace Fundraiser
The domestic violence shelter is hosting a 5K/10K walk, and a fundraising dinner later that month.
LIVERMORE, CA — Tri-Valley Haven, a Livermore shelter and food pantry for victims of domestic abuse, is hosting its 25th Anniversary Pace for Peace 5K/10K run and walk through the Livermore Valley.
On Oct. 1 at 8 a.m., participants can run or walk along the Arroyo bike trail, through Robertson Park, and through the vineyards. The event will also feature awards, raffles, a bounce house, and DJ Mel McKay from 101.7.
On Oct. 22 from 5 to 8 p.m., Tri-Valley Haven will also host a “Thrive & Rebuild Haven Dinner” at the Darcie Kent Winery Estate offering chicken and Livermore Valley wines. The dinner will feature a live auction and live music from local musician Jack Quigley.

All proceeds from both events will help Tri-Valley Haven programs to help local individuals and families fleeing domestic abuse. The shelter is the only confidential domestic violence shelter in the Tri-Valley, and is looking to expand its capacity from 30 to 45 beds.
