Tri-Valley Haven Hosting Shelter Groundbreaking Gala
The Building Together Dinner Gala will raise funds for the final phase of TVH's Domestic Violence Shelter Rebuild Campaign.
PRESS RELEASE FROM TRI-VALLEY HAVEN:
Tri-Valley Haven’s Building Together Dinner Gala will raise funds for the final phase of the organization’s Domestic Violence Shelter Rebuild Campaign on Saturday, April 13, 2024, from 5 – 9 pm. This exciting event will take place at the Robert Livermore Community Center, 4444 East Ave, Livermore. The gala will include an official groundbreaking ceremony for the shelter build. The program’s emcee will be Melissa Hernandez, Mayor for the City of Dublin.
Tri-Valley Haven runs the only confidential domestic violence shelter in the Tri-Valley and the only shelter that accepts teenage boys as part of families. Unfortunately, after so many years of successfully housing families, the domestic violence safety shelter, aptly named “Shiloh” for peace, is in physical decline. The most economical and efficient way for Tri-Valley Haven to serve local families, and to meet our community’s growing need for emergency shelter, is to build the new facility with 50% more capacity (we will have 45 beds instead of the current 30).

The public campaign to raise funds for Tri-Valley Haven’s new DV Shelter began in October 2022. Tri-Valley Haven has raised more than 80% of the $7.8 million budget, with the help of Alameda County, the Cities of Livermore, Pleasanton and Dublin, the Sunlight Giving Foundation, the Fremont Bank Foundation, and many incredible community supporters. A full list of our generous capital campaign funders can be viewed online.
Sponsorship opportunities for the Building Together Gala are available. Ticket sales for the event will open in January. For inquiries, please contact Ranjani at development@trivalleyhaven.org or call 925-667-2703.
