Tri-Valley Haven Requests Donations For Annual Holiday Program

Learn how you can help survivors of abuse have a better holiday season.

LIVERMORE, CA —Holiday season is approaching and for many, that means gifts, feasts, and cheer. But for the unhoused, low-income, or survivors of domestic violence, the holidays can be some of the hardest times.

Tri-Valley Haven, a Livermore nonprofit helping abuse survivors, is hosting a number of drives and initiatives to help spread some of the holiday cheer. The organization estimates that the drive may help up to 3,500 Tri-Valley residents in need.

The following items can be dropped off at 3663 Pacific Avenue Monday to Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Donations are requested until December 7.

  • Gift cards to Safeway and Target
  • Filled holiday stockings containing soap, mittens, beanies, crayons, puzzles, card games, crafts, masks, lotion, hand sanitizer, cards, etc.

You can also make a tax-deductible donation that will be used to provide holiday dinners, gifts, gas cards, bus passes, and more.

Throughout the month of November, you can donate a frozen turkey, gift cards, or cash at the Grocery Outlet in Livermore. On Nov. 20 from 10-1, you can drop off donations at the Livermore City Hall.
