Tri-Valley Haven Student Art Contest
We encourage youth of all ages and levels of experience to participate in raising awareness and empowerment about domestic violence.

From Tri-Valley Haven: October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month! Tri-Valley Haven invites all Tri-Valley area students to help raise awareness of family violence through participating in our Annual Student Art Contest. This year’s theme is: ALL Families Deserve Peace. We encourage youth of all ages and levels of experience to participate in raising awareness and empowerment about domestic violence.
Art work must be original and students may use up to four colors. Pictures cannot be larger than 14X14 inches. The winner will receive $100 cash prize, A Target Giftcard, and their artwork will be featured on the t-shirt for Tri-Valley Haven’s Pace for Peace Walk/Run; second place wins $40 and third place will receive $20. The first place winner will also receive a commemorative t-shirt, and will be presented with their prizes at Tri-Valley Haven’s Pace 4 Peace 5K/ 10K Event on Saturday, October 6 th 2018. Deadline for submissions is Friday, September 14, 2018. Artwork may be dropped off at Tri-Valley Haven’s Community Building, 3663 Pacific Avenue, Livermore Monday – Friday 9 am – 5 pm. The Pace for Peace 5K/10K Walk/Run will take place on Saturday, October 6, 2018 at 8am at Tri-Valley Haven, 3663 Pacific Avenue, Livermore, near Downtown Livermore. Presentation of the award for the winning artwork will take place at the Pace for Peace Event at 9:30am.
