Tri-Valley Hotel Tax Deferments Possible
Danville, Dublin, Livermore and Pleasanton are trying to ease the burden on hotel owners.

April 21 2020
(Pleasanton, Calif) - In recognition of the vital importance of the Tri-Valley hospitality industry’s economic contributions, the cities of Livermore, Dublin, Pleasanton, and the town of Danville have passed emergency business measures to allow hotels severely impacted by countrywide COVID-19 Shelter in Place edicts to defer Transient Occupancy Taxes (TOT) and subsequent penalties until July 31, 2020. Deferments will allow local hoteliers the opportunity to postpone payments through what is considered the deepest drop in occupancy levels in recent history (national average – 85%).
