Tri-Valley Land Conservancy Seeks Appointee From Livermore
The non-profit land trust that protects open space and wildlife has opening on its board of directors for a local resident. Interested?

LIVERMORE, CA – The City of Livermore is seeking applications from residents interested in serving on the board of directors for the Tri-Valley Conservancy, a non-profit organization that works to protect open space, wildlife and plants and watershed areas in the region.
Established in 1994 and the only such trust in Alameda County, the land trust also works with public and private partners to acquire conservation easements and land purchases, and the board has legal and fiscal responsibilities for the operation.
The board meets every other month on the fourth Wednesday of even months, from 6:30 p.m. to 9 p.m., at Tri-Valley Conservancy’s office at 1457 First St. in Livermore.

Applicants for the board appointee must reside within Livermore city limits. Applications are due in the City Clerk’s office by 5 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 3, and interviews are expected to be scheduled the week of Jan. 7.
