Livermore Man Hits 11 Cars, Drags Truck Through Lot, Police Say

LIVERMORE, CA — Demariea L. Dawkins, 27, of Livermore was arrested Wednesday on charges related to a Friday night crash in a Boise parking lot, the Idaho Statesman reported. Dawkins struck and dragged a pickup truck, then hit 10 other cars around 8 p.m. Friday, Feb. 14 while descending in a parking structure, police told the paper.

Dawkins fled the scene in his damaged yellow Ford Mustang, police told the Statesman. He ditched his car after damaging a light pole and traffic control sign, police told KTVB.

He faces charges related to having an open container of alcohol, malicious injury to property, reckless driving, not giving notice after hitting an unattended car, Pleasanton Weekly reported. Dawkins was also booked on an outstanding warrant.
