Tri-Valley Man Shot In Attempted Robbery

The man was shot while walking to a relative's home, The East Bay Times reported.

OAKLAND, CA — A Livermore man, 46, was shot around 12:15 a.m. Monday after three masked men tried to rob him as he walked to a relative's house near Lake Merritt, the East Bay Times reported. The man is in stable condition.

The man was walking in the 3000 block of Lakeshore Avenue, south of MacArthur Boulevard, when a car pulled up, demanded his belongings and initiated a struggle after he refused, the paper reported. The man was shot just before the men drove off.
