1,700 In Tri-Valley Without Power Monday Afternoon
Power outages continued to affect much of the Tri-Valley Monday, though Livermore's outage has significantly grown.

TRI-VALLEY, CA — About 1,400 in Livermore were without power as of 2:45 p.m. Monday, according to the Pacific Gas & Electric Company.
Many residents of Tri-Valley and cities across the Bay Area went to bed without power Sunday and woke Monday morning to find themselves still in the dark. But while power was restored to a handful of people in Danville, another 1,000 PG&E customers in Livermore lost their power by Monday afternoon.
Dozens of Livermore residents could see power restored by 3 to 4 p.m., according to PG&E. No restoration time has been set for the roughly 1,380 others.

Dublin and San Ramon were the only areas where all had power.

PG&E called on the public to conserve power Monday to prevent outages, according to a news release issued Monday morning. The utility's meteorologists expected temperatures to continue to climb through Wednesday and PG&E advised the public to be ready for power outages.
Power conservation can help take pressure off the power grid and reduce outages caused by the heat, PG&E said.
Here's the latest outage statistics as of 2:40 p.m. Monday:
- Alamo: 2 outages; 108 customers impacted
- Livermore: 8 outages; 1,418 customers impacted
- Pleasanton: 5 outages; 26 customers impacted
- Sunol: 5 outages; 111 customers
