Tri-Valley ‘Spread Cheer With Beer’ Raises $1,500 For TTFF

LIVERMORE, CA — Visit Tri-Valley recently raised $1,500 for The Taylor Family Foundation by enticing hundreds of beer lovers to the taps. The "Spread Cheer With Beer" fundraiser, which sent beer drinkers to breweries, taproom, and pubs located throughout Pleasanton, Livermore, Dublin, and Danville, was hosted by Visit Tri-Valley.

More than 20 business participated in the popular Tri-Valley Beer Trail campaign this year. Beer drinkers tracked their progress on the Tri-Valley Beer Trail passport, which was available in the participating pubs and local shopping centers and hotels. Once participants visited at least five of the businesses, they earned a $20 donation to The Taylor Family Foundation in Livermore courtesy of Visit Tri-Valley.

Those who wanted to participate without drinking were invited to order a limited edition "ugly" sweater featuring the "Spread Cheer with Beer" message.

The Livermore-based Taylor Family Foundation works to preserve the wellness of children with life-threatening illnesses, developmental disabilities and youth at-risk.
