Victim Discovered on Ground in Pleasanton May Have Been Stabbed in Livermore: Police

The man was taken to Eden Medical Center for treatment. (Breaking)

LIVERMORE, CA — A man suffering from a stab wound to his thigh was found on a residential street in Pleasanton and may have been stabbed in Livermore, police officials said. The victim was discovered on the ground on Gerard Court in Pleasanton before 7 p.m. Sunday.

Police said the victim appeared to be extremely intoxicated, and was unable to give information about how he ended up injured or in Pleasanton. He was taken to Eden Medical Center in Castro Valley for treatment and is expected to recover from his injuries.

According police, the circumstances surrounding the stabbing around unknown at this time.
The victim is a Hispanic man in his 20s.
