Woman Wears Disguises, Uses Counterfeit ID To Withdraw Cash From Victim’s Accounts, Livermore Police Say
BREAKING: Police said the suspect wears different hats and wigs as part of an elaborate strategy to disguise her identity.
LIVERMORE, CA — Police officials are asking for the public’s help identifying a woman suspected of using a counterfeit driver’s license so she could withdraw cash from an existing bank customer’s account. Police said the woman entered the West America Bank in Livermore at about 11 a.m. on June 1 and after scoring the large sum of cash, she visited the West America Bank in Walnut Creek and made a large withdrawal from the victim’s other account.
The woman, believed to be in her 60s, is suspected of committing the same scheme in other areas. Police said she has been known to wear a black brace on her right wrist and has been captured on camera wearing various hats and wigs as part of an elaborate strategy to disguise her identity.
