2 At-Risk People Missing In Long Beach, Police Ask For Help

LONG BEACH, CA — Long Beach police are asking for the public’s help finding two at-risk people who remain missing in separate cases.

The latest alert was issued Wednesday for 74-year-old Herbert Lee Brown, who was last seen Monday evening. Police are also continuing to search for Danielle Rich, 37, who was last seen Sept. 3.

Brown was last seen at about 7 p.m. Monday in the 1900 block of Locust Avenue, according to the Long Beach Police Department.

Police said Brown is on foot and does not have a cellphone or other means of being tracked. He has medical conditions and may become disoriented. His possible destination is unknown.

Brown is described as a Black man who is 5 feet, 11 inches tall and weighs about 211 pounds. He is bald and has brown eyes.

He was last seen wearing a blue-gray Los Angeles hat, a turquoise Aeropostale shirt, black pajama pants and black Calvin Klein slides.

Rich was last seen Sept. 3 leaving a residential facility in the 1200 block of Walnut Avenue, police said. LBPD issued its public appeal to find her Tuesday.

Police said Rich has cognitive issues and listed her possible destination as unknown.

Rich is described as a white woman who is 5 feet, 9 inches tall and weighs about 180 pounds. She has brown hair and brown eyes and was last seen wearing a cream-colored long-sleeve shirt, white pants and white shoes.

She also has a flower tattoo on the inside of her left wrist.
