All 4 Victims in Fatal Crash Near Long Beach Airport ID'd

The four people were in a 2008 Honda Accord when it struck a center median around 1:20 am on Feb. 21.

LONG BEACH, CA -- The four people who were killed when the vehicle that they were riding in struck a median on Lakewood Boulevard near the Long Beach Airport and then exploded into flames on Feb. 21 have been identified.

According to the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner’s Office, the deceased are:

  • Isabel Acevedo, 22
  • Caleb Gainer, 22
  • Amber Delgado, 22
  • Brian Delgado, 28

It is currently unknown if Amber and Brian Delgado were related. Amber Delgado was listed as a Huntington Park resident, but no city of residence was listed for the other three.

An investigation remains underway regarding the cause of the fiery crash, which occurred around 1:20 am on a Saturday morning.

The Long Beach Police Department has said that the National Transportation Safety Board would investigate the incident and issue a preliminary report within 30 days.
