Almost 4,000 Lose Power In Long Beach

LONG BEACH, CA — A power outage in Long Beach affected 3,992 customers Thursday afternoon, according to Southern California Edison.

The outage was reported at 1:33 p.m. in the area near Redondo Avenue and 7th Street according to SCE. Power was estimated to be restored to most customers by 2:33 p.m.

A field investigator was alerted of the outage and was en route to the area as of 2:21 p.m. The cause of the outage is unknown at this time.
