LONG BEACH, CA — A pedestrian was found dead after being hit by a vehicle and then a train Saturday in Long Beach, according to police.
Officers responded around 9 p.m. to Long Beach Boulevard and East 23rd Street, where they discovered the person lying on the Metro Light Rail tracks, police said.
A hit-and-run vehicle traveling south on Long Beach Boulevard struck the person in the road, and the pedestrian was then hit by the Metro Light Rail train, according to police.
