LONG BEACH, CA — A boy and a girl suffered non-life-threatening wounds during a shooting in Long Beach, authorities said Sunday.
Officers were dispatched to a shooting call at about 9:15 p.m. Saturday in the 1900 block of Lemon Avenue, in the Midtown area, the Long Beach Police Department reported.
They found a male juvenile and a female juvenile with gunshot wounds.
"Long Beach Fire Department personnel responded and transported both victims to local hospitals," according to a police statement. "The motive, circumstances, and suspect information are under investigation."
