Barbecue And Beer Bash At Fuego For Father's Day On June 18

It’s a barbecue and beer bash at Fuego for Father’s Day at Hotel Maya on Sunday, June 18 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Fuego Father's Day guests will enjoy a variety of beer specials by Garage Brewing and live Latin jazz music at the water’s edge.

Fuego, the modern, Latin infused indoor-outdoor restaurant and lounge, offers a unique seaside setting featuring 13-foot-tall glass walls that fully retract with seating inside and on the patio area. Fuego's stunning open-air views include the Pacific Ocean, Long Beach skyline and Queen Mary.

Executive Chef Victor Juarez starts off with Salads and Assortments offering a selection of green salads and assorted dressings; Lobster Macaroni Salad with spring peas and vegetables; Potato Salad, Corn and Cactus Salad; Chicken Apple Salad with Fuji apples and candied walnuts; Pineapple Cole Slaw; along with celery, Italian parsley and aioli.

Platters and Displays offer Butcher Block and Domestic and Imported Cheeses; Fresh Fruit & Seasonal Berries, to include Papaya, Kiwi, Passion Fruit, and Mango; Antipasto Grilled Asparagus, Calabazas, Olives, Artichokes, Roasted Red Bell Peppers and Anchovies; and Heirloom Tomatoes & Mozzarella Cheese Basil, EVOO and Balsamic Reduction.

The Seafood & Ceviche Station offers Jumbo Gulf Shrimp, Alaskan King Crab Legs and Ceviche including Citrus Bay Scallops and Calamari, Pineapple Mojo Mahi Mahi, and Chipotle Marinade Shrimp.

Fuego Barbecue features summer favorites including Baby Back Ribs with Jack Daniel’s Barbeque; Kielbasa with Sweet Grain Mustard, Pepper and Onions; Slow Roasted Pork Shoulder with Guava Glaze; Grilled Mahi-Mahi with Fresh Fruit Salsa; Roasted Whole Chicken with Jack Daniel’s Barbeque; Steak Potatoes with Chile de Àrbol Sauce; Street Grilled Corn with Tajin and Cotija Cheese; and Texan Chili Beef with Jalapeno Corn Muffins.
