Barbecue And Fireworks On 4th of July In Fuego at Hotel Maya

Guests will enjoy delicious barbecue and a front row view of the Queen Mary fireworks along with live classic and contemporary rock music

Come for the Fuego barbecue and stay for the Queen Mary fireworks this Independence Day celebration in Fuego at Hotel Maya on Wednesday, July 4 from 6-9 p.m.

Fuego will also present live classic and contemporary rock music with Mike Vitale and The Chemicals at the water’s edge.

Fuego, the modern, Latin infused indoor-outdoor restaurant and lounge, offers a unique seaside setting featuring 13-foot-tall glass walls that fully retract with seating inside and on the patio area. Fuego’s stunning open-air views include the Pacific Ocean, Long Beach skyline and Queen Mary.

“Fuego is the ideal location to enjoy great barbecue and fantastic fireworks from the Queen Mary,” said Jason Cervantes, Director of Restaurants at Hotel Maya – a Doubletree by Hilton. “In addition to enjoying the live classic rock music on Fuego’s waterfront patio, guests can also play a variety of family-friendly oversized games located throughout the property or relax by one of our seven fire pits at the water’s edge.”

For Fuego’s 4th of July Barbecue, Executive Chef Victor Juarez has prepared a delicious meal beginning with the Chef’s selection of Green Salads and assorted dressings; Maine Lobster Macaroni Salad, Beet and Potato Salad; Arugula, Watermelon, Feta Cheese and Walnut Vinaigrette; along with Hickory Smoked Cole Slaw, and Grilled Asparagus and balsamic reduction.

Platters and Displays feature Imported and Domestic Cheeses and Charcuterie; Antipasto with roasted vegetables, olives and artichokes; Heirloom Tomatoes and Buffalo Mozzarella; Fresh Fruit, Melon and Seasonal Berries; with Chilled Seafood to include Jumbo Gulf Shrimp & Alaskan King Crab Legs; Ceviche featuring Mahi-Mahi, Steamed Shrimp, Hojas de Sea Bass; and horseradish cocktail sauce, shallot vinaigrette.

Fuego’s Cookout Barbecue Station offers Kielbasa Smoked Sausage with caramelized sweet Hawaiian onions; Kentucky Style Barbecue Baby Back Ribs; Braised Brisket with sweet whole grain mustard; Steelhead Trout with roasted lemon and sea salt; and Slow Roasted Whole Chicken; along with Brussels Sprouts with peppercorn demi-glace, Corn on the Cobb with drawn butter, Roasted Steak Potatoes, Macaroni and Cheese and Honey Baked Beans.

A selection of Independence Day miniature desserts include Crème Brûlée and Chocolate Decadence; Fruit Tarts and assorted Pies with cherry, apple, vanilla, chocolate or pecan; and Strawberry Shortcake and warm Peach Cobbler.

The Fuego Fourth of July Barbecue and Fireworks costs $80.00 per adult and children, 13 and older; $29.00 for children, 12 and under; kids 5 and under feast for free; plus tax and gratuity.
