WWII Rocket Causes Scare In Long Beach
The antique rocket was thought to be inactive until a Long Beach family heard something move inside.

LONG BEACH, CA – A sheriff's bomb squad was called to handle a suspicious device that reportedly turned out to be an inert World War II-era rocket being stored in a garage in the 5800 Cerritos Avenue in Long Beach.
Christina Gill told the Long Beach Post that the rocket was in her garage for years, as one of her family members collects World War II memorabilia and they thought it was a dummy round. However, one of them picked it up today and felt something move inside.
“I put that thing outside so quickly,” one of the family members told the newspaper.
