Boy With Developmental Disabilities Found Safe In Long Beach

The 12-year-old went missing in Long Beach and was found at a shopping center in Lakewood.

LONG BEACH, CA – A young boy with developmental disabilities who went missing in Long Beach was found in Lakewood and reunited with his family, police said Thursday morning.

The 12-year-old was found unharmed at a shopping center Wednesday, according to the Long Beach Police Department. Details of exactly when and where he was found were not disclosed.

The boy was last seen by a parent about 5 a.m. at their home in the 6100 block of Linden Avenue, according to the Long Beach Police Department. The parent left and returned about 9 a.m., but Michael was gone, police said.
