Burglar Barricades Himself In Victim's Home: Long Beach Police
Officers arrived to find a man had barricaded himself inside the victim's home, according to police.
LONG BEACH, CA — A burglary-turned-barricade Monday night in Long Beach ended with a man in custody, according to police.
Run Peov, 47, of Long Beach, was booked on suspicion of burglary and obstructing an officer, police said.
Officers responded to a burglary in progress around 9 p.m. in the 4200 block of Lakewood Boulevard and arrived to find a man had barricaded himself inside the victim’s home, according to police.

Officers established a perimeter, and SWAT resources were used to take Peov into custody, according to police, who said his bail was set at $50,000.
