Burglar Opens Fire After Confronted By Victim: Long Beach Police
The shooter fled the scene, police said.
LONG BEACH, CA — An apparent burglar fired a gun at a victim who confronted two men breaking into a vehicle early Saturday in Long Beach, according to police.
Officers responded around 4:20 a.m. to the 1300 block of West 33rd Street for an assault with a deadly weapon and arrived to find evidence of a shooting, police said.
The victim had confronted the men and one of the pair had shot in the victim’s direction, according to police, who said the men fled in a vehicle.
